Inflammation: Neutrophil integrins switched on by selectins
The interaction between P-selectin and P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 on neutrophils leads to integrin transactivation via phosphatidylinositol-3-OH kinase signaling and neutrophil accumulation at sites of inflammation.
