Phase II: Reaching out to the Participating Investigators
Bioinformatics (core B) need your help and feedback:
Major objectives
Complete integration of the CFG data with specialty databases, complete with user friendly interfaces that facilitate access to data and exploring the paradigms of glycan binding proteins
Add functionality to current interfaces:
- Allow searching of gene microarray data and GT database with gene accession numbers
- Integrate results of MALDI and MS/MS data to include/confirm branching and linkage information
- Add SymAtlas-type interface to compare gene expression data across experiments
Needed from Participating Investigators
Uploading data (e.g. tables/figures, publications) relating to CFG resources using new PI data upload interface
Help with annotation of databases (e.g. GBP database)
Send your suggestions/feedback to either core director Rahul Raman or core coordinator Ram Sasisekharan
Other suggestions:
- Synthesis of compounds for mammalian and pathogen glycan arrays library, N-linked and O-linked glycan standards synthesis by Glycan Array Synthesis (Core D)
- Pathogen Glycans for the pathogen glycan microarray (Core H)
