CARBOHYDRATE COMPOUNDS,
GLYCAN-BINDING PROTEINS & ANTIBODIES

Protein: Sheep anti-mCD33

Type: IgG

Buffer: PBS + 0.1% BSA + 10 mM azide

Purity: IgG was purified from immune serum using protein G Sepharose and anti-Fc reactivity depleted using a human IgG affinity column. The antibody was then affinity-purified using a mCD33-Fc Sepharose CL-4B affinity column. The affinity-purified antibody has been screened against a panel of mouse CD33-related siglecs and found to have no detectable cross-reactivity at up to 10 micrograms/ml.

Storage temperature: 4ºC

Activity: The optimal concentration for FACS analysis, immunoprecipitations and westerns is between 1 and 5 micrograms/ml, but it is recommended that the antibody be titered for optimization before use.

Pre-immune IgG: Pre-immune control IgG purified from pre-immune serum as described above is available.

Expression: mCD33 is selectively expressed on myeloid cells.
