Novel Strains Generated by Core F


The table below lists knockout mouse lines that have been created by the Mouse Transgenics Core (F), are being bred and are currently available for distribution. Two or three breeding pairs of homozygous null animals will be provided. Knockout mouse lines being created by the Mouse Transgenics Core (F) that will soon be available are also listed.

Twenty-nine knockout strains acquired from Participating Investigators that have been available through Core F are in transition to new homes. For a list of these strains, click here. When the transition is complete, some strains will be available from The Jackson Laboratories and some will continue to be available from the original contributors. During the transition phase they will continue to be available from Core F. Please contact the Director of Core F, Dr. Bo Ma, if you are interested in obtaining any of these strains. He will let you know the strain’s status and suggest the appropriate contact.

6 Obtaining this line, which was obtained from Lexicon Genetics, Inc, requires signing a separate agreement with Lexicon Genetics Inc., creators and owners of the line.

7 A previously unavailable double knockout strain created at Core F by interbreeding.
