Phenotype characterizations of mouse strains typically take one year from the shipment of mice to the posting of the data in the CFG’s central database. All phenotype data is released to Participating Investigators via the website and additional experiments can be requested. Upon completion of the final experiment, the data will be released to the public within six weeks. Phenotype requests submitted via the “Resource Request Form” on the CFG’s website will be referred for evaluation to the Mouse Subcommittee, which will present the Steering Committee with a recommendation regarding approval.
