We are requesting screening of the printed glycan array with a sample of fluorescein-labelled little langerin, a truncated but still trimeric and very soluble form of this receptor from skin dendritic cells. A similar sample was previously tested against the plate array and we believe that the results are telling us something important about the way that langerin binds to targets, but it is important to confirm that we get a similar outcome with the alternative presentation on the printed array. The request would require 1-2 slides, as there will be one sample to test, but following an initial screening it may be necessary to rescreen with a diluted sample.
