Experiment to be conducted : A glycan array screen for 4-6 human antibodies (IgG and IgM) is requested. The goal of this study is to examine the glycan specificity of human monoclonal antibodies obtained from patients immunized with KLH-conjugated cancer vaccines (containing sialyl Lewis A, GD2 or GD3) designed for potential treatment in the adjuvant setting. If high selectivity can be demonstrated, selected library carbohydrate compounds may be requested to evaluate the affinity of the antibodies.
Within Scope of Consortium : Y
If yes, indicate the person responsible for inputing data into core B : W. Scholz
GBP being Addressed : Purified, unlabelled human IgG or human IgM monoclonal antibodies. Produced as recombinant antibodies in CHO cells.
Specifc aims being addressed : Define the specificity and affinity for carbohydrate ligands.
